Two Possibilities: Happiness Or Suffering
Author: admin
In every moment, there are two possibilities. One possibility is to have all of our curiosity, attention, and passion focused on what is happening. The other, is to have that same curiosity, attention, and passion focused on what is not happening, what is not present, or what we think should or shouldn’t be happening. In every moment, the question is: What are you giving your attention to? Are you allowing what is, or going to battle with it&ndashtrying to change it in some way?
When our focus is on what is, our experience of what is opens up and becomes bigger, richer, and more complete. But when it is on what is not (the past, the future, or any thought about what is), our experience of the moment contracts and becomes narrower and full of suffering and struggle, because inherent in a focus on what is not is a struggle with what is.
When we look, we discover that most of the time we are in opposition to what is and oriented toward what is not. Life is mostly about how to make things better and get more pleasure, or how to get rid of the things that are painful. We are constantly evaluating our experience, looking to see what’s wrong with what we are experiencing and how it could be improved. We tend to be focused on what’s wrong with the moment or on what could be added to it to make it better. As a result, our attention becomes very narrow and our awareness very limited.
Once we see how much time we spend struggling with what is, the tendency is to go to battle with that&ndashto try to fix that. We think the solution is to fix this tendency to try to change everything. But that only changes the content of our struggle: Now we are struggling with our tendency to try to change things. We suffer over the fact that we are suffering.
The other possibility is to just notice how much you suffer, without trying to do anything about it. Just allow the fact that you don’t allow much. Just recognize that that is the way it is. This struggling with what is, is just what we were conditioned to do; and this conditioning is also a part of what is.
Once we stop being in opposition to what is, it is possible to see how all of our struggling comes from the idea of a me. Without the assumption that something is my experience, there wouldn’t be much point in trying to change anything about the moment. Our effort and struggle to change what is only makes sense if there is a me. It is all in service to maintaining the idea of a me. In fact, the struggle is the me. When there is no struggle, there is no me. All of our suffering is how we have and maintain an identity.
Once we realize this, the tendency is to try to fix this&ndashto try to change our belief about who we are. We focus on getting rid of identification, which is again, focusing on what is not. We are still suffering because now we are at war with our tendency to identify. Instead of being oriented toward and accepting of what is (our struggle with identification), we are oriented toward how we think it should be: I should know better than to be caught in identification; I should know who I really am.
Another possibility is to be really present to this tendency to identify, without making any effort to change it. If that’s what is happening, then that’s what is happening. You just let it be that way. You can even be amazed by it all, including the fact that there is a sense of a me. You see how unreal this me is, but you don’t struggle to be rid of it. There’s no longer an assumption that something is wrong that needs to be fixed.
When it is finally okay for the moment to be just the way it is&ndashincluding the fact that we identify as me and therefore battle with the moment&ndashthen more of our experience can be recognized and included in our awareness. If we are willing to be present to and allow our identification, then it is also possible to notice something beyond identification, something beyond our struggle and effort to maintain a me. What that something is, for lack of a better word, is Being.
Along with awareness of identification and the struggle and suffering inherent in that, is an awareness of this larger ground of Being in which everything is happening. When we see that all the me is and ever has been is a lie, but we don’t turn away from that awareness or judge ourselves for it or try to get rid of the me; then we start to notice that, along with the struggling inherent in the me, is a beautiful, rich presence of Being, which is allowing everything, including the experience of me. We come to see that the me’s struggle is only a tiny percentage of our entire experience and that this struggle is happening in an ocean of allowing. This allowing is Being.
When we are allowing, we include in our awareness what it is that is allowing, and that is Being&ndashwhich is who we really are. This realization can be a very jolting experience or a very quiet one because Being is actually very familiar. Every moment of allowing has actually been a moment of experiencing Being.
Identification is the source of suffering. It is only the me who ever has a problem. All of our suffering can be traced back to identification, to this misunderstanding that the me exists. It’s not that the me has a problem; rather, the me is the problem. Everything that the me does is a form of battling with our experience. The me is this split in our being that goes to battle with itself. That’s all that the me is.
Paradoxically, what brings us beyond the struggle and unlocks the bigger view is realizing how much we enjoy identifying. Once we allow things to be the way they are, it is possible to admit that identification has been a lot of fun. The illusion of a separate self is an incredible act of creation. It has created the whole drama of human existence. It has inspired many of the great works of art and literature. We love to identify, but that doesn’t mean we also don’t suffer from it.
This creation and projecting of a false identity&ndasha me&ndashis not a mistake. It’s natural, spontaneous, and inherent in human nature. It’s one of the richest parts of our experience&ndashand there is also the even richer possibility of no longer mistaking the me as the totality of who we are. Identification isn’t a mistake, and yet there is much more to life&ndashand to us&ndashthan that experience.

The Temptation Of The Critical Voice
Author: admin
Each of us has an inner critic. There is no way to grow up in our society without having developed this inner critical voice &ndash which comes from parents, teachers, peers, the media, and from our own conclusions.
The problem is that this inner critic sounds like a voice of authority when in reality it doesn’t know what it is talking about. It is a voice based on beliefs that have been handed down through generations but that have no basis in fact.
How often has this voice said to you:
“You can’t do it. You are inadequate.”
“You are stupid and ugly.”
“If he (or she) rejects you, it is because you are not okay.”
“You had better do it right. If you don’t, everyone will know that you are a fraud.”
“It is NOT okay to make a mistake.”
…and so on.
This inner critic speaks with such authority that it is tempting to believe what it says. Yet is knows only lies. It knows nothing of who you really are.
When this voice is criticizing you, it is criticizing the “you” that it thinks you are &ndash your ego wounded self. The critic, having come into being to help you survive and protect you from rejection, long ago decided that who you really are is not good enough. When you experienced judgment or rejection from the important people in your life, you likely concluded that you were being rejected because you weren’t good enough or lovable enough or worthy enough or smart enough or attractive enough…and so on. You may have had no idea when you were being judged or rejected, rather than loved and accepted, that it actually had nothing to do with you. You probably had no idea that you cannot CAUSE another person to be judgmental or rejecting, or loving and accepting. You likely had no idea that others’ behavior is not under your control.
If you believed that you were causing others to judge or reject you, you may have decided that who you really are is not good enough. So you started to judge and reject yourself as you attempted to create a “self” that would be loved and accepted. The inner critic &ndash your ego wounded self &ndash is the self you created. You came to believe that if you judged yourself enough, you would make yourself into an acceptable person.
The problem is that none of this is true. There never was anything wrong with your true Self, your essence, your soul. It was, and is, a perfect expression of the Source from which we are all a part.
When your wounded self is criticizing you, it is criticizing your looks, your intelligence, or your performance. But none of this is who you are.
Who you are &ndash what is truly worthy, lovable and valuable about you &ndash is your ability to love. Not how you look, not how smart you are, not how much money you have or how big your house is. Your true Self is an individualized expression of God (or whatever you want to call our Source), and God is Love.
Next time you hear the authoritative voice of your inner critic, instead of giving that voice credence, stop listening to that voice. Treat that voice with compassion, like a child who acts like it knows everything. Instead of acting on that voice, open instead to the voice of your true Self &ndash the voice of Truth.
Do this simply by asking, with a deep desire to learn, “What is the truth?” Your Higher Self will answer you. This Self is the true voice of authority, even though it may be much softer and gentler than the loud voice of your inner critic.
Each time you hear the critical voice, ask your Higher Self “What is the truth?” If you take action based on the Truth rather than on the false beliefs of your inner critic, you will find yourself feeling so much better in so many ways!

We Are Not Meant To Live Alone
Author: admin
John Robbins, the heir to the Baskin-Robbins ice cream fortune, stated on the Coast to Coast radio show that one of the surprises of his research into cultures known for their longevity, was the importance of love and healthy relationships. Loneliness and negative interactions can depress the functioning of the body’s systems and lead to poor health, Robbins reported. “I believe that ultimately it is the love in our lives that underlies and makes possible our greatest healing and longevity.”
I have also heard that the number one killer in our society is not cancer or heart disease &ndash it is loneliness. This is not a surprise to me, as loneliness is often the underlying feeling that so many people attempt to avoid with their various addictions.
People in cultures known for their longevity do not live alone. Before modern civilization, people did not live alone. Our civilized way of life has led to the loneliness that is endemic in our society.
We are not meant to live alone. We are meant to live in caring communities with people to turn to for love and connection, and for help when we need it. Love, connection and support are vital for our health and wellbeing.
Without caring family, community, or friends to turn to, we lack the connection with others that we all need. However, in order to feel connected with others, we first need to be connected with ourselves.
We all need the feeling of inner connection that comes from being tuned in to ourselves and to our personal source of spiritual guidance. We need the feeling of inner connection that comes from taking loving care of ourselves &ndash physically, emotionally and spiritually. But the goal of inner connection is not being alone. When we connect with ourselves and with our spiritual guidance, we fill ourselves with love &ndash and we then want to share that love with others.
No matter how inwardly connected we are, we are not islands unto ourselves. We need others with whom to share our love and our joy. We need others to play with and learn with. And we need others to turn to in times of sadness and grief. Without this, we feel lonely.
Loneliness is one of the hardest feelings to feel. The feeling itself can be experienced as life threatening since we could have died as babies if we were left alone for too long. We can feel lonely in many different situations: when we are alone and have no one with whom to share love, when we are with people who are not open to connecting with us, and when we are with people and we are not open to connecting with them.
The feeling of loneliness may be so painful that you turn to various addictions to avoid the feeling. Many people do not even know that they are feeling lonely because they respond addictively so quickly. They the grab the food, the drink, the drug, the cigarette, turn on the TV, get busy, or get angry before they are aware of having a feeling, and then wonder why they cannot stop their addictions. Often people become addicted to a dysfunctional relationship and cannot leave for fear of the loneliness and disconnection. When people are not connected with themselves and their spiritual guidance, they may have a connection addiction, constantly pulling on others for the connection they so desperately need.
Continual loneliness and the inner aloneness from inner disconnection, create much stress in the body, which leads to illness. In addition to proper nutrition and exercise, one reason certain cultures live long and healthy lives is that they have love and connection with others always available to them.
Do not discount the power and importance of inner and relationship connection. If you want optimal health, you need to take the action in your own behalf to seek out loving and caring people and to do the inner work necessary to become a loving and caring person with yourself and with others.

What Is Meditation?
Author: admin
Meditation can be described in hundreds of ways. Here we will give some brief explanations about this so-extremely-important aspect of human harmony, health and spiritual evolution.
Three Aspects of Meditation
1. The first step is relaxation or surrendering of the body and mind so that the mind is not cluttered with various unrelated and disturbing thoughts.
2. The second is concentration on a limited area of mental focus so as to begin to be able to control and direct the mind towards the chosen “object” of concentration. Thus, if I have chosen to concentrate on Christ, the concept of love or the energy in my heart center, my mind will not wonder from that point of focus to various other unrelated thoughts concerning my daily life, needs, desires, the future and the past.
3. The third stage is the eventual transcendence of the mind, thoughts and all identification with the body and personality. We then enter into a state of super-mental union with divine consciousness.
These three aspects, RELAXATION, CONCENTRATION and TRANSCENDENCE constitute the basis of most meditation techniques.
What is Meditation Like?
Meditation could be considered any process or abstinence of process, which brings the mind into a state of contact with the inner self, so that a sense of inner peace and fulfillment ensue.
Ordinarily, our minds are constantly preoccupied with feelings, ideas, thoughts, sounds, sights, tastes and sensual experiences. We are focused on working, talking, thinking, analyzing, watching, worrying, solving, studying, dreaming and so on. We are like ships being tossed around by the waves of circumstances, external inputs and our subconscious programming.
One moment we are happy, elated over a success, a new purchase or an affirming exchange with a loved one. In the next moment sadness flows through us - we are tired, depressed with life, bored with work, confined by our family, devastated by the heat, frustrated with ourselves, angry at others, or bitter about the hardships which life has put upon us. Life is an incessant flow of moods, thoughts and perceptions.
Now the object of your consciousness is what you are reading. And in-between the lines it moves to the life experiences, which are stimulated by the associations brought forth by these words. Then the past memories become your object of consciousness.
Meditation is a process in which we let go of these disturbances and allow ourselves to sink into ourselves and experience the center of our being, where there is a constant sense of peace and feelings of security and love for ourselves and all others.
This becomes a source of energy, security, self-worth, freedom, strength and peace with which we can deal with our daily lives. We have so much to gain by dedicating 20 minutes at least once but better twice daily for this contact.
We will obtain greater clarity, health, harmony, happiness, intuition, understanding, creativity and problem solving ability.
The meditative process climaxes in the transcendence of the ego and the mind itself, ending in a state of contact with higher levels of awareness or, eventually, pure consciousness without an object of perception.
If we care for our bodies and minds and they will care for us.

To Know is To Not Know
Author: admin
This is truer than people might realize. Dig deep, there is a significant powerful truth buried in this statement that can redefine life and create more positive and powerful experiences. As we navigate life, become educated in society, and learn from experiences we inevitably think we know.
We know what people are like, we know what this means and that means, we know what to expect, and we know what will be good and what will be bad. All of these perceptions are defining a reality before it even has a chance to show you something different.
To know is to not know is a statement that drops judgement and allows the experience to demonstrate something new. It also creates an openess for you to discover more; this could be more about you, more about life, more about people, or more about situations. You have still your past experiences there to offer insight and you allow the present experience to reveal more or create something new.
We often say we are not defined by our past. This is the way our life is meant to be and yet, we often are limiting our future based upon past experiences. If this is true in our lives, then we are being defined by our past. All that is needed is a shift in perspective. When the body, emotions, or mind reacts to a situation, person, or whatever, then you want to seize the moment and be curious enough to ask why you are reacting the way you are.
When you are reacting to a situation, it is fear based. This could be a belief, a family emotional trigger, a self-esteem issue, or many other root causes. Being curious and identifying this allows a couple of things to happen. Recognizing the reaction allows you to step back and inquire deeper. This will enable you to discover issues that you can then begin correcting or accepting. Second, stepping back from the reaction for reflection will allow you to respond rather than react. When you are responding to a situation, it is based in peace.
There is so much more that can be explored from this place. Personal power, personal responsibility, accepting responsibilitiy, victimization, emotions, emotional hijacking and sabotage; there are so many depths, twists, and turns along this road of spiritual awareness. Owning and understanding that aspect of your nature allows room for so much of life’s experiences to occur and provide learning. Change is also easier to embrace and navigate.
To know is to not know. I’d just invite you to entertain this possibility and play with it in new situations. Whenever you find a judgement popping up, step back from it and say, “I see you, now let’s just wait and see.” Sometimes, the judgement may be right. Won’t it be wonderful and surprising to experience new truths when the judgement is wrong?

The Secret Of True Love ……
Author: admin
Have you ever asked yourself what is the Secret of True Love?
Take This….
The ability to fetch a wonderful thought from the universe (just like you pluck a beautiful flower from the garden) and to care about it long enough and to pay it undivided attention such that whoever is the recipient of the thought (be it your partner, your child, your parents or your friend) immediately from that point on feels damn good even if he or she is miles away from you. This is the secret of True Love…..This is the way relationships grow and blossom into a full blown rose flower…
Strength does not lie in licking a woman’s breast; even a stray dog can do that. Strength is always the power of a beautiful thought not the domination of the muscle. The strength of a muscle can break a dozen bones but it cannot travel beyond a certain distance. A glorious thought however can travel leap years ahead, beyond continents and beyond the realm of time and space. It can deliver messages at lightening speed and can rebuild a million lives and bring smile to humanity. It is that powerful.
Attention to a caring or authentic thought is what is love .Every other thing is a stray dogs meal.
So what are the qualities of a great relationship?
The first and foremost is to FEEL DAMN GOOD ! If you don’t feel good reading this email, if you don’t feel good talking to someone, if you don’t feel good when someone walks into your house then there is a good chance that you really do not care about the relationship too much….
So feeling good is the highest attribute of a great relationship. Everything else is secondary. You have to learn the ability to fall in love with your thoughts…And then love in all forms be it money, relationships or health will come knocking at your doors. You can sitting in a remote corner of the world send out a wonderful and caring thought and the person at the other end can immediately feel damn good…. Thoughts are way too powerful it is just that you have not experienced its power, its strength.
John once told me that that poverty is a state of mind being broke is only a passing phase. You don’t have to regret being broke He had experienced the downside of life…
Hatred and animosity towards your partner is a state of mind facing big time problems in your relationships is a passing phase. You can turn the tables around very quickly…
Feeling low and weak is a state of mind , current health problems is only a passing phase.
You should not mistake the current circumstances to be your destiny. They are only a passing phase what is permanent is your thoughts, your state of mind. That is where you have to begin the work. If you pay too much attention to the current events surrounding you then you become a play tool of circumstances and events . You got to learn the fine art of holding on to fewer thoughts, of breaking focus of your day to day problems and caring about your thoughts….
Would you like to learn the fine art of sitting in a remote corner and sending a caring thought to your partner who is miles away from you and the moment you release this loving thought he or she feels damn good ? Would you like to learn that skill?
Would you like to fetch a powerful thought, an idea, nourish it take care of it, give it legs feed it with strength and then send this loving thought to the universe and the universe in turn hands you cash…? A Million dollars or more. Would you like to experience this? You think all this is fun, philosophical bookish… Damn It ! They are all a piece of cake. All great things were backed up by blazing clarity of thoughts. Go back and re-read history and you will see that most of the millionaires and rich people were broke or average at a certain point of their life….
Ditto with Health…. There have been cases where cancer has been cured with the power of thoughts. This is no joke. I am not hear to have fun. I don’t enjoy writing ordinary mails. My mails reach the recipients heart faster than the Fedex guys…I am pretty serious with what I do. John would seem casual on occasions but he has a mighty heart, a reservoir of spiritual energy and so he can afford to play with certain things. Not you and me…
The moment of truth has arrived….
Problem is the obstacle and Problem is the key. For Problems according to ancient scriptures is the guardian of knowledge. The supreme obstacle is the supreme door.
You can chose with all your might to overcome problems and knock it down and even if you are successful you will find that a new wall has already been formed behind the existing one. It is a never ending game a totally futile action a, complete waste of energy. Would you like to continue doing this or would you like to open the secret door to experiencing true love , because love is money, love is relationships and love is great health… It is a piece of cake as clear as the blue sky you can see it with both eyes all you need is insight, a spark of curiosity , a collision with feeling if you will….
A murmur in the soul tells of a world to be…says the great John Harricharan . I am pretty sure there is no soul in this earth save a few who knows his real strength. He is a mighty warrior who can save a million souls he has got that strength. I have seen and experienced it. He is the real deal … The time to unlock his reservoir has finally arrived… You are damn lucky to be living in an age where John is physically alive. Go and re-read what I have written above and compare it to the best texts you have written and you will see that there is something in this mail which touches your deepest being, which bruises your ego, causes a rash in your body. Thoughts are mighty powerful. They can generate wealth, build homes, and bring a smile onto your face. I would like to see one in your being this moment right now….

In studying books we are sometimes deluded into thinking that thereby we are being spiritually helped; but , if we analyse the effects of the study of books on ourselves, we shall find that at the utmost, it is only our intellect that derives profit from such studies, and not our inner spirit. This inadequacy of books to quicken spiritual growth is the reason why, although almost everyone of us can speak most wonderfully on spiritual life, we find ourselves so awfully deficient. To quicken the spirit, the impulse must come from another soul. Today is your chance to meet up with a gigantic spirit . Hold yourself no more. Somewhere Over The Rainbow
Author: admin
A few years back I took a turn off the busy roads of life and went down a quite country bridal way. That bridal way was called, ’self-discovery’ (spirituality).
I liked the bridal way and felt like I could have stayed on it forever. And I might have, had it not been for my responsibilities - children and bills and stuff.
At the end of that bridal way I came to a busy road. It seemed busier than ever. That was when I realized something that I want to share with you today.
What I learned at the crossroads - where the bridal way of spirituality met the busy main road of life - is that spirituality is not about leaving life’s problems behind, it’s about continually confronting them with honesty, integrity and courage.
This was a meltdown moment for me. It meant I had to stop hiding on the bridal way of life and end all separation from me and my troubles and heal relationships, find compassion and put myself at the feet of others.
This week I traveled around five hundred miles across the south of the country and have seen first-hand the devastation the summer floods have brought.
I saw a house where the first floor was under water, a farm where the barns were flooded, fields that had turned into lakes and roads where the tarmac was now missing as a result of the conditions.
Then on the news I heard the survey that 61% say this is just freak weather. 25% say it’s global warming.
Then I heard that severe flooding happens around every fifty years in the UK and that all this might just be a planetary cycle.
Perhaps the answer is: who knows. But the consequences of the weather are that bees aren’t making honey. Cow’s winter feed is being ruined, wheat isn’t growing and people’s lives need to be rebuilt.
I’m not mentioning these things to scare. I’m saying them to apply the principal of facing our challenges with honesty, integrity and courage.
If it is just ‘freak once in fifty years weather’ then fine. Over the coming months communities will pull together to make things better again and it will all work out fine - until next time.
On the other hand we can’t discount the fact that climate change is a ticking clock and that maybe sitting on our botty’s until the politicians make a decision is not sensible.
While carrying my thoughts around this week I came to sit my botty on a friend’s sofa this week. On their wall they had the words of a Cree Indian.
The words said, ‘Only when the last tree has died and the last river has been poisoned and the last fish has been caught will we realize that we cannot eat money.’
Thinking about this the following morning led me to a discussion at our breakfast table.
We discussed the possibility that for one week we attempt to avoid anything that comes in plastic wrapping, tin, glass bottles and cardboard - since it all takes natural resources and energy to create.
The reality of the thought of this thought seemed tough, especially on my daughter. She realised she’d go without bread, margarine and marmite at breakfast. Her lunch wouldn’t include crisps, tuna, lettuce and cucumber (when it stops growing in the greenhouse).
I would have to forgo olives. I’d miss out on herbs except the ones I grow. I’d also need to get serious on growing even more in the garden or doing deals with my neighbours.
I read a quote in a book recently that there is a need for this generation to become saints and heal what has been done.
Is that a big ask?
My thinking is not to separate from the problems I’m a part of. Of course we’ve reduced, where we can we reuse and if we can’t we endeavor to recycle. Yet still we produce rubbish each week that took resources to make and is still being dumped in the earth.
However, today’s article is necessarily about the environment, it’s about not burring our heads in the sand. The point I want to get across is that there is a need for us to face our challenges with honesty, integrity and courage, whatever the challenge - be it health, money, business, family or whatever.
I hope you’ll find the tips useful.
1. Take a few minutes to think about the things that challenge you the most.
2. Consider the things you don’t want to face.
3. What one thing could you do to face that now?
4. Become aware of how you feel when you’ve faced it.
With Love and good wishes

The Transformation Of Spiritual Consciousness
Author: admin
This new time in the history of planet Earth is creating a transformation of spiritual consciousness that is a quantum evolutionary leap for all of humanity. In times past, spiritual pursuits, spiritual awareness and spiritual growth we largely separate from the pursuits of ordinary life. In more recent times, spiritual growth has been seen as a path to bring greater healing, and greater ease in one’s physical life. These views of spirituality were partial, related to steps in a process that humanity’s consciousness has been involved with, and now a new and expanded view of spirituality is emerging.
Initially, human souls existed as the Oneness of spirit, and as the process of physical incarnation developed, souls descended more and more completely into the experience of physically manifest reality, which at that time required a separation from the world of spirit. This separation was necessary for a time, so that souls could experience the fullness of individuality and the complete immersion in physical manifestation.
Within this current time period, this cycle of complete immersion reached its zenith. Humanity went as far as we could in exploring the many myriad ways of expressing individuality within physical form. The cycle has begun to shift now, as the spiritual evolution of the Earth has progressed into a vibration that is manifesting more light. The increased presence of God’s light on the Earth is accelerating humanity’s transformational process, speeding up both external events and internal shifts in consciousness.
Dearest ones, there is emerging now in the consciousness of humanity a growing awareness of the Oneness of all of life, and a need to come together and create unity in ways that have never before been seen on the Earth. This need comes both as the result of the current global crises, which require concerted effort on the part of all people, and also as the result of the spiritual evolutionary process which seeks to move into the next level of growth and awareness, embracing both the full individuality and uniqueness of each soul, and also the unity and Oneness of all souls and all embodied life.
In the new times that are arriving, spirituality will be understood not as separate from physical life, but as the foundation, essence and core of physical life. Spirituality will not be an “extra’ pursuit that people pursue as recreation, or solely as the means to help deal with challenging life circumstances; it will become an essential component of all choices, activities and directions that are taken.
Changes are happening even now, to the Earth and to our physical bodies, that will make possible a much more integrated, harmonious and peaceful way of life. These changes may not be immediately apparent to us on a conscious level, as there is so much purification and transformation happening in our daily lives that much of our attention is focused on simply getting through each day, and in dealing with the hefty challenges before us. You may be able to perceive these changes through your dreams, or through the quiet whisperings of your intuition, that speak of the new times that are ahead.
It is important to understand that times of massive change also bring many challenges, and emotions of fear, uncertainty, and a feeling of being lost and without a sense of security. Now is the time to create within yourself an inner connection with your own soul essence and spiritual center. There are many ways to create this connection, through prayer, meditation, spiritual practice, yoga, dance, authentic movement, art, music and so on. It is your inner longing and request to be more connected with your inner being that will activate this movement. Then, you will begin to be drawn to people, practices and methods that will help you to deepen this inner connection.
God answers all souls’ prayers and all souls’ desires to return home to the center of spiritual beingness. Your prayers and intentions will activate new paths, new directions and new ways of seeing, feeling, understanding, and relating to yourself, to others and to all of life. Now is the time when so much is possible for us all, to enter fully and completely into the divine spiritual manifestation of our soul’s essence, both individually and collectively. Allow yourself to listen deeply to the deepest whispers of your hearts calling, and to follow the truth of your inner being. In this way you will create a new life for yourself, and in doing so you contribute to creating a new and brighter future for us all.

What Is Advaita Or Oneness
Author: admin
Advaita means nondual or “not two.” This oneness is a fundamental quality of everything. Everything is a part of and made of one substance. Often the question arises, If it is all one thing why don’t I experience it that way? This is confusing oneness for the appearance of sameness. Things can appear different without being separate. Just look at your hand for a moment. Your fingers are all different from each other, but are they separate? They all arise from the same hand.
Similarly, the objects, animals, plants and people in the world are all definitely different in their appearance and functioning. But in their ultimate nature, they are all connected at their source. So, this one Being has an infinite number of different expressions that we experience as different objects.
It also turns out that your fingers are all made of the same substance. As you explore the nature of your hand with greater subtlety, you discover more and more similarities. Your fingers are actually made up of very similar tissues, cells, atoms, and ultimately subatomic particles. When your experience of reality becomes even more subtle, you discover that everything is just a different expressions of one field of Being. Below is a wonderful little story written by Dennis Waite that explores this in more depth.
What about your experience right now? Is it possible to discover this subtle oneness in ordinary experience? It is, if you set aside the expectation of a dramatic experience of oneness and explore the oneness a little bit at a time. Just as even a single drop of water is wet, you can experience oneness in even simple everyday experiences, since oneness is a fundamental quality of everything that exists.
As an experiment, just notice your fingers and the palm of your hand. Can you really say where one starts and the other ends, or are they one thing? To take this further, where does your hand stop and your forearm begin? Can you experience the oneness of your hand and your forearm?
If these are not separate, then what about all the other parts of your body? Are your feet and your ears really one even though they are so different? Now notice if there really is a separation between your thoughts and your head. Where does your head stop and something else called thought begin? What about feelings or desires? Are they really separate from you or your body?
Now, notice the simple sensations you are having: the sounds you are hearing, the sensations of touch, and the objects and events you are seeing. If you are seeing, something, where does the seeing stop and something else called the eye begin? If you are hearing sounds where does the sound start and the ear stop? Perhaps the hearing and the sound and your ear are all one thing. Yes, the ear is different from the sound, but in the act of hearing they become one thing.
Then, where does the source of the sound stop and the sound itself start? For example, if a bird is singing outside your window, where does the bird stop and the sound of its song begin? Or are they one thing? If the bird and its song are one thing, and your hearing and the song are really one thing, then is it possible that you and the bird are one thing also?
Advaita, or oneness of Being, has often been thought of as something hidden or difficult to experience, when it is quite ordinary and available in every moment. Of course a big experience of oneness, where you directly experience the oneness of everything, is a rare and dramatic event. But why wait for something so rare when this sweet and satisfying oneness is right here, right now?
