Understanding Multiple Types Of Intelligences
Author: admin
IQ (Intelligence Quotient) Testing was invented by Alfred Binet and Theodore Simon. The first Intelligence scale was created in 1905. At that time, the French government commissioned a test to assess which student was more likely to succeed and which students were more likely to fail in the French school system.
Lewis Terman made some revisions to this assessment in 1930 and renamed it the Intelligence Test. During this time, intelligence quotient tests were used to measure children’s mental age against their chronological age.
Our school systems have come to rely on IQ and other standardized tests. This kind of testing puts a great deal of focus on verbal-linguistic and math-logical intelligences, but they have left out other types of intelligences.
In 1983, Dr. Howard Gardner stated that intelligence consists of three key components:
1. The ability to create an effective service or product that is of value to one’s community or culture.
2. A set of skills that enable a person to find solutions to problems encountered in life.
3. Having the potential for creating solutions for problems, and setting up systematic methods to enable people to acquire new knowledge.
Dr. Gardner has become a world-renowned authority on what is known as Multiple Intelligences. This theory has its roots on research that is based on extensive brain research, tests, interviews, and studies of hundreds of individuals.
Dr. Gardner studied the cognitive abilities of individuals who were accident victims, autistic, had strokes, were child prodigies, and some who had learning disabilities.
He came to the conclusion that intelligence is not an inborn, fixed trait that dominates a person’s problem solving abilities. It is each person’s different part of their brains that are more developed than other parts of their brain.
While these parts of the brain are interconnected, they can work independent of each other or they can work in synchronicity with each other to help that person learn, depending on the environment and the person’s preferences.
Having this in mind, Dr. Gardner pin-pointed eight different Intelligences that every person has, to varying extents. These intelligences are;
Linguistic/Verbal
Logical/Math
Spatial
Bodily-Kinesthetic
Musical
Interpersonal
Intrapersonal
Naturalist
Eight Intelligences Defined
Linguistic/Verbal- these are individuals who will have sensitivity to the nuances of the spoken word. They love to read, write, and also tell stories. They are good at remembering places, dates, and names. Professionals with a strong verbal/linguistic intelligence are public speakers, teachers, actors, radio broadcasters, and writers.
Some examples are Charlton Heston and Abraham Lincoln.
Math-Logical &ndash
These are individuals with a strong ability to reason. They are able to recognize and manipulate abstract relationships and patterns. People who have strong reasoning skills and problem-solving skills are especially strong in the math/logical intelligence. Professionals with this intelligence are computer programmers, lawyers, scientists, mathematicians, and accountants.
Some historical examples are Alexander Graham Bell and Albert Einstein.
Spatial &ndash
Individuals with a strong spatial intelligence have the ability to create visual-spatial models and are able to transfer them mentally. They usually need a mental or physical “picture” to help them understand the ideas and concepts being presented. Professionals with this spatial intelligence are graphic artists, cartographers, sculptors, and architects.
Some historical figures include Pablo Picasso and Bobby Fischer.
Musical &ndash
Individuals with a highly developed musical intelligence are sensitive to the rhythm, itch, timbre, and composition of sound. They enjoy listening to music and may work as songwriters, vocalists, composers, or music teachers.
Some Historical examples include Mozart, Beethoven, and J.S. Bach.
Bodily-Kinesthetic &ndash
Individuals with strong kinesthetic intelligence are drawn to the athletic field. They may also use their physical bodies to convey ideas, thoughts, and emotions and solve problems. They have good hand-eye coordination and usually have a tendency to move around a lot while expressing them.
Professionals with a high kinesthetic intelligence are dancers, inventors, athletes, and surgeons.
Some historical figures include Tiger Woods and Andre Agassi.
Interpersonal
These individuals work effectively in group settings and are able to understand and recognize motivations, goals, and intentions of others. People with this intelligence thrive in group work situations and are very skilled at mediating, communicating and negotiating.
Professionals with interpersonal intelligence are therapists, social workers, counselors, teachers, and salespeople.
Historical examples include Ghandi and Mother Theresa.
Intrapersonal
Individuals with a strong intrapersonal intelligence possess the ability to understand their own goals, emotions and motivations. These people have very good instincts about their abilities and strengths. In the professional settings, these persons will be psychiatrists, philosophers, or religious leaders.
An historical example of this is Sigmund Freud.
Naturalist &ndash
These individuals are “earth lovers”, who have a strong affinity for nature. They enjoy learning about flora, fauna, and other nature topics. Professionals with this intelligence are farmers, botanists, biologists, and forest rangers.
Historical figures include John Muir and Charles Darwin.
Remember, that although this report has outlined specific traits, everyone has some level of ability in every intelligence. It is important that we learn how to cultivate each and every single one of these intelligences.
You Don’t Have To Be Smart To Be A Genius
Many of the most influential iconoclasts suffered from their own misalignment with the “status quo” of their times. Among them were;
Beethoven &ndash whose music teacher said of him, “As a composer, he’s hopeless”
Walt Disney &ndash a newspaper editor fired him because he had “no good ideas.”
Albert Einstein &ndash he was four years old before he was able to speak and seven before he was able to read
Thomas Edison &ndash his teachers told him he was too stupid to learn anything
With the Information Age being upon us, now is the time you can dig and soak up as much valuable information as possible on the Internet to help you develop all of your Multiple Intelligences.

Wording Intentions: Asking For What You Really Want
Author: admin
Have you ever asked the universe for something and gotten a result that wasn’t what you intended? When wording our intentions and speaking our desires, it pays to be very specific! Consider these examples:
Shannon wants to be debt-free, so she states an intention: “I want to pay off all my debt.” Suddenly she starts receiving demands for payment in full on loans she’s been paying in installments, or she receives notices about old debts she’s forgotten about.
Kim wants to meet the man of her dreams, so she states an intention: “I want to meet a man who is loyal, dedicated, loving, and handsome.” She meets him all right, but then finds out he’s already married to someone else. Or she meets a single man with those qualities, but he’s “loyal and dedicated” to his job and has little time for a social life.
Wanda wants to lose weight, so she states an intention: “I want to lose weight fast!” Within a few days, she comes down with a stomach flu that causes her to lose 10 pounds in a week.
Steve wants a new car, so he states that intention. Next thing you know, his current car breaks down and the repair shop says it can’t be fixed, or if it can, the cost would be equal to that of a new car. He has no choice but to buy a new car!
These types of situations have happened to me more times than I care to count, and I see them happening to others frequently too. However, if we learn to define our desires and state our intentions in very specific terms, our chances of receiving exactly what we want increases dramatically.
Be clear about what you don’t want: First, it helps to know fully what you DON’T want. That sounds simple enough, but often we don’t take the time to get clear about it, so we end up attracting stuff by default. One good way to know what you don’t want is to take a look at the circumstances of your life right now. Which situations cause you stress, grief, pain, or frustration? Make a list of the things you don’t want, so you can get clear about what you DO want.
What DO you want, anyway? Once we understand what we don’t want, we need to give some in-depth thought to what we do want. Most often, our “do wants” are the exact opposite of our “don’t wants.” If you don’t want financial lack, you do want financial abundance. If you don’t want tension in your relationships, you do want harmonious interactions with others. Everything that is on your “don’t want” list, write the opposite outcome in a list of “do wants.”
Defining the end result: More importantly than making a list of “wants” is understanding the true desire behind these things. We may say we want “a lot of money,” but why? Money by itself does nothing for us. If we look a little deeper, we find that we want a lot of money so we can enjoy financial freedom, travel, and luxury in our lives. Rather than focusing only on the acquisition of money, we should instead focus on inviting the DESIRED OUTCOMES into our lives. Yes, and an abundance of money too. We don’t have to remove money as a desire, but seeing it as the end-all, be-all of our desires is incredibly limiting.
Be specific: Here’s where you get to exercise your creativity! In order to be specific in wording our intentions, we first need to know what we don’t want, and what we do want, and the desired outcome we are trying to create. The first three steps listed above took us through that, but how do we word our intentions so they will attract what we really want?
Consider the difference between these two intentions:
1) I want a lot of money so I don’t have to work at a job I hate.
2) I want to do work that fills me with passion and joy and attracts massive amounts of money into my life, giving me the freedom to work when I want to, and not have to when I don’t want to.
See the difference? It’s all in the details. With every intention, we need to specify a “how” and a “why.” Occasionally we can add in a “when,” but remember that the universe has its own perfect timing that may or may not align with our ideas of when things should happen.
Acknowledge the blessings in disguise: Sometimes, no matter how specific we are with our words, our desires will manifest in a way we didn’t particularly want or expect. There are probably varied reasons for this, but the reasons don’t even matter. The important thing is to see these experiences as opportunities. Rather than sinking into frustration and despair when our intentions aren’t being fulfilled the way we expected, we can honor the process for what it is and affirm that it will all work out in the best way possible.
Usually, that’s exactly what will happen. Happy intending!

Simple Life Improvement Ideas

“We create our lives a thought at a time. And sometimes, it comes down to changing a thought such as “Why did this happen to me?” into “There is a divine plan and there is a reason for this, and my choice is to create the most positive reaction I can.” - Dee Wallace Stone
You know that positive thinking and positive action attracts positive things. But you also know that it is not possible to stay motivated and positive all the time.
You constantly need to check your thoughts as busy activities make you forget your dreams and goals at times. In other words, live a motivated life and you will feel that your life has improved.
Here are some ideas to increase your motivation and thereby improve your life:
1. Get Close To Positive Energy
Stay away from all forms of negativity. Avoid the cynics, pessimists, whiners and complain kings and queens. They will not support your goals and desires. They will drain your energy and stifle your dreams.
Associate yourself with positive and happy people. Their enthusiasm for life is contagious. Positive and optimistic people will uplift your spirits and help you through challenging times. Also draw inspiration from Mentors and Motivation Gurus.
2. Never Give Up
Don’t ever give up. We will not fail if we keep trying. Work hard at what you want to achieve and never let negative thoughts cloud your mind. Have faith in yourself. During difficult times, you will find ways to keep your spirits up and keep moving forward. Remember, if you think positively, you will get positive results. And if you think negatively, you will get negative results.
3. Reflect On Success
There are going to be some days that will take every will power to feel motivated and move forward. What can you do? Reflect on what is happening in your life and what you can learn from it. Look back on how far you’ve come. Think of past accomplishments that make you feel good and proud of. List down all your achievements, both personal and professional, and know your worth. Don’t forget the little achievements too. These are proofs that you have made good use of your time and energy.
4. Don’t Wait, Do It Now
While it’s important to work within your plan, don’t wait for everything to be perfect before you make that move. Don’t be in limbo, waiting for perfection that will never be. If you’re waiting for a shining moment of excitement, it isn’t going to happen. Stop waiting for it.
Work within your plan and take that first step. Frustration sets in when you make all the plans you want, make lists, detail every step, but take no action. You have to MAKE it happen. Take action and repeat the action process again tomorrow.
5. Take Time To Relax Too
It is critical to take time off. We need rest and relaxation every now and then. Rest, by itself, is a great motivator. We are so busy that we can forget to relax and recharge. Even a weekend away from work, studying or watching kids can be good. You need to recharge those “batteries”, refresh your attitude, and renew your commitment to yourself. Without sufficient rest and relaxation, you will burn out fast. Taking time off from work is essential to your mental, physical, and emotional health.
To live the life you want to live, action is required. Take these simple ideas to create and improve the life you have always wanted. Start Today.

Three Secrets To Getting Everything You Want

Three Secrets to Getting Everything You Want
Really!
Those of us who look at things like “getting everything you want” are usually those who don’t have everything we want and know it and feel it &ndash often to the point of pain. Two very painful things in my life started me on this path of trying to get a life I wanted instead of the one I had.
One was a really bad relationship that I lived in daily and didn’t know how to do anything about and the other was a very skewed view of how I look. Those areas caused me tremendous pain and I’ve been learning and looking at how to have what I want for over 25 years because of them. Here’s what I‘ve noticed. It simply comes down to three secrets.
The first phase involves healing. Healing means you look at all the relationships and situations from your past and work on bringing them into equilibrium. For example, you can never think about your mother without a little bit of negative coming up with those thoughts. She’s annoying or not as loving as you’d like or frankly critical. That has to be effecting your relationships somehow. In therapy many people look at how but that’s where they seem to stop. It doesn’t really matter how it happened. What really matters is that it’s effecting your life today. That little bit of negative may carry over to all of your relationships with women, for example. And the lucky thing is, you don’t even have to know exactly how it’s happening. You can just assume that any unresolved relationships or situations from the past are having some effect that you don’t want in your life today.
The next phase or secret involves belief. This means you have to believe that what you want in your life is possible for you to have it. If I say I want a prosperous life but deep inside believe I can’t really have it, then all the positive thinking in the world will not allow me to. For years I heard statements like, “if you believe it, you can have it” or “if you think the right thoughts, you can have the life you think about”. All that did for me was make me feel like some kind of dope who couldn’t get my thoughts in order because clearly my life was an outer reflection of the terrible thoughts I was having all the time. What to do? How can I believe what I don’t believe?
The third and final secret is action. All the pure thought and healing in the world is not going to change your life if you take no action. If your friend tells you that you will meet the man of your dreams in a workshop as my friend told me, you have to go to the workshop as I did - and I did meet the man of my dreams.

Top 10 Prosperity Tips
Author: admin
Living a prosperous life is about much more than just having enough money. In order to be truly prosperous, you need to change your total mind-set from lack to abundance. You need to make a mental and emotional shift and start living your life on a more abundant level - in all areas!
Below are my top 10 tips for doing that:
Prosperity Tip #1 - Do What You Love
When you spend time doing things you really love, you automatically feel happier. When you feel happier, you emit more positive vibrations, and attract the things you want more quickly and easily! Start spending more time doing the things you really love. This can include hobbies as well as transitioning to a more fulfilling career.
Prosperity Tip #2 - Affirm You Always Have More Than Enough
The more you focus on lack, the more lack you will experience in your life. Turn this around by constantly affirming, “I always have more than enough money for everything I need.” The more strongly you can come to believe this, the more your physical surroundings will shift to match your expectations.
Prosperity Tip #3 - Take Action
Action isn’t always necessary in order to attract abundance into your life, but it sure doesn’t hurt. Don’t sit around waiting for your circumstances to change - get out there and change them! Taking even one small step toward what you want can often trigger a flood of opportunities and synchronicities that get everything moving in a more positive direction. At the very least, taking action can boost your confidence and make you feel more in control of your circumstances.
Prosperity Tip #4 &ndash Gratitude and Appreciation
An appreciative mind-set makes everything seem better. Not only do you feel more abundant, your very focus on the positive aspects of your life will naturally attract more things to be grateful for. Make it a daily habit to appreciate the wonderful things that happen to you - even the small things. The more you do, the more you’ll find good stuff flowing into your life as if by magic.
Prosperity Tip #5 - Love, Love, Love
Love is one of the most powerful, transformational forces. It can heal the most painful situations, transform lack into abundance, and inspire positive change in both the giver and receiver. Practice flowing feelings of deep love for everyone and everything in your life. Love your blessings, your friends and family, the difficult people you encounter each day, and even your illnesses and obstacles. When you love them, you heal and transform them into genuine blessings.
Prosperity Tip #6 - Boost Your Self-Worth
Your beliefs have everything to do with the things you experience on a daily basis. If you don’t believe you deserve abundance, you will continually push it away! Start improving your self-worth and affirm constantly that you deserve to be happy, healthy and wealthy. When someone tries to give you a gift or compliment, accept it with gratitude! The more you do this, the more you will open yourself to the blessings the universe wants to send your way too.
Prosperity Tip #7 - Make Room for More
If every nook and cranny of your life is crammed with clutter and disharmony, you’ve got no ROOM for prosperity to come in! One of the quickest ways to get abundance flowing more smoothly through your life is to clear a space for it. Get rid of physical clutter and release painful emotional burdens and unresolved issues. Clean up your physical, spiritual, emotional and financial affairs, and watch how easily they are transformed from stagnant to vibrant.
Prosperity Tip #8 - Change Your Beliefs, Change Your Life
Besides poor self-worth, you may have other limiting beliefs that keep you from experiencing the prosperity you deserve. For example, do you believe you must work hard to receive a lot of money? Do you believe that rich people are rude and insensitive? Do you believe that having a lot of money would be a burden? Learn to examine and question your beliefs about prosperity - and change the ones that limit you. This is an ongoing process that can change your life in powerful ways.
Prosperity Tip #9 - Fire Up Your Abundance Radar
You’ve probably heard it said that whatever you focus on expands. Prosperity is no different! Get into the habit of seeking examples of abundance wherever you go. When you’re shopping, pause to notice the abundance overflowing from store shelves. Each one of those products began with a simple idea in someone’s mind and was created in physical form! Take a trip to your local farmer’s market and marvel at the abundance of produce available. Each one of them was started with a tiny seed planted in the ground and nurtured until it grew into a luscious fruit or vegetable. Take time each day to reflect on the abundance you see all around you, and you will attract more of it (in all forms) into your life.
Prosperity Tip #10 - Positively Abundant
Positive thoughts and emotions will automatically attract more positive circumstances into your life, including prosperity! Negative thinking is nothing more than a habit of looking at the less favorable aspects of every situation. But every negative situation has at least ONE positive benefit. The more you can train your mind to look for the blessings and remain open to possibility, the more blessings and possibilities you will see! Start a new positive thinking habit today and watch how it transforms you into a magnet for everything good.
There are many more ways to attract greater prosperity into your life, but these tips offer a simple way to get started.
Abraham Lincoln once said, “Most folks are as happy as they make up their minds to be.” The very same thing could be said about prosperity.
Make up your mind to be as prosperous as you want to be . . . and your perception of reality will have no choice but to comply with your wishes.

Understanding The Key Elements Of The Law Of Attraction
Author: admin
Fiction or reality
When it comes to the law of attraction people cannot just simply limit to only one explanation given to it. If some people consider it as their karma, there are people that connect it directly to the best rule ever. When we talk about the laws of attraction, we refer to the energy of our feelings. We say energy as it’s working like a magnetic pole: one is emanating energy and someone else receives it. It works like a continuous flow: whatever we transfer comes back to us.
No matter the type of emotions we carry, whether it is anger, love or sympathy we will notice that they return to us in different ways. The law of attraction acts in such a way that each emotional move is rewarded. If you feel love you will get love. Show hate and your reward will be hate. What is special about the law of attraction is that it is very much like gravity: has the same pathway. We will notice that the feelings we show will come back to us in more than just one way. Though we find ourselves in situations we simply feel uncomfortable in, we have the chance to change it by drawing different better ones.
What do feelings worth?
In order to better understand the law of attraction, we need to know more about our feelings. The control exercised over our own feelings gives us the possibility to change the situations or circumstances that we run into daily and which we dislike. So we keep the control over our feelings and we let them circulate so as to let them go with no anticipation whatsoever. Still, since every one of us has their own wishes it’s normal for us to have certain hopes. You can check this for yourself; for instance with the people you meet and interact with: there is a certain reward obtained after having released certain emotions during your interaction. This is what is called law of attraction and it comes right from this natural force.
It’s up to us to change a certain situation. Since there are many emotions that we release without being aware of having done so, we do not have the power to determine the circulation of these emotions. Once the emotions released, whether they were released with our express intention or not, we have already created a certain situation that we find ourselves in. Our future can be changed in a positive way if we change our habitual actions. In order to do so we need to become aware of our own emotions and not to walk away from them. After all they are ours and are part of the real life; therefore they need to be accepted as such. It is not a simple thing to do since you need to be determined, brave and persisting in order to be able to redirect your feelings and emotions. You can fight against the negative emotions by simply keeping them inside you and releasing them only when you have found the perfect time to do so. Hunt your negative feelings and make a deep analyze to each of the actions you make. This is how the law of attraction works: through careful examination of the circumstances before being drawn to them.

Where To Start With Law Of Attraction
Author: admin
If you’re just learning about the Law of Attraction and wondering where to start, or if you’re not seeing results and want to start over, I’d like to share a few tips on what I believe to be the best ways to get started:
1) Choosing more positive thoughts.
Negative thinking is very much a habit, and it’s one that has the power to control your life in frightening ways! Before you can change your outer circumstances, you need to learn how to choose better thoughts. Take a moment right now and consider the general direction of your thoughts overall. Do you consistently focus on the negative? Are you stressed much of the time? Do you live in a constant state of anxiety and frustration?
Begin turning that around immediately. You won’t be able to change it overnight, but you can gradually adopt a more positive thought habit. When you’re about to do something challenging, say aloud, “I know this will be a piece of cake!” Or when you’re waiting on some news, affirm over and over that it will work out in your favor. It will take effort on your part to CHOOSE more positive expectations, and you probably won’t believe the things you’re saying - not at first. But if you keep at it daily, little by little you’ll notice optimism becoming your new habit.
2) “Flow” positive emotions as often as possible!
Emotion is absolutely one of the most powerful weapons you have in your arsenal against struggle and lack because EMOTION IS ENERGY! Whatever emotions you are feeling at a given moment is exactly the quality of energy you are emitting to the universe. Feel negative emotions, transmit a negative signal. Feel positive emotions, transmit a positive signal. Those signals are what attract your experiences!
To improve the quality of your signal, begin doing what I call “energy sessions” each day. Find a quiet place to sit or lie down, and bring to mind something that you want. Imagine that you already have it and let your emotions rise higher and higher and higher! Feel WONDERFUL about this thing you have, and let feelings of joy, happiness, gratitude and contentment flow through your body. Get the feelings as strong as you possibly can, until you’re nearly weeping with joy! Believe it or not, just a few minutes of this activity daily can bring about positive changes so quickly it will take your breath away.
3) BE what you’re trying to attract.
Finally, there is another super-duper-powerful technique that can create changes FAST. And that is BEING the person who already has what you want to attract. Let’s use an example: Imagine that you’re trying to attract more money into your life. As it stands right now, you’re struggling with lots of financial difficulties and focusing on lack a lot, which only attracts more money problems.
In order to turn this around, begin thinking, feeling and acting like a person who has no money problems. How would such a person feel? How would such a person behave day to day? Most likely, that person would be calm, happy, grateful, centered and content. They’d pay their bills calmly and they wouldn’t worry about money, ever! They would FEEL abundant and blessed. If you begin thinking, feeling and acting that way too, guess what happens? You communicate to the universe that you are abundant and blessed - and the universe says, “Okay!”
The truth is, the Law of Attraction is incredibly EASY to use once you know how! It’s just a matter of learning how to think, feel and act differently than you have been used to doing for most of your life. A period of adjustment is absolutely necessary - just like adopting ANY new habit! Don’t expect yourself to get it perfect right away. Simply work at improving your thoughts, emotions and expectations a little at a time, moment by moment. You may think that small changes won’t create big results, but I assure you they can!
Eventually you’ll reach a point where you pause, look back and marvel at how much your life has changed, just because you were willing to take it a step at a time.

Writing Your Own Powerful Affirmations
Author: admin
A common question I see from people just beginning their personal development journey is, “How do I write effective affirmations?” Often they will go in search of existing affirmations that they can apply to their own situation, but they may or may not find something that works for them.
In my experience, it is much simpler to come up with our own personal affirmations because they’ll get right to the heart of the matter like nothing else can!
First, let’s explore the reasons for using affirmations so we can be clear about our objectives in writing them. An affirmation is most often used to help us think and feel more positive, empowered, and in control of a particular situation. On a deeper level, an affirmation is meant to ALTER OUR EXISTING BELIEFS.
Remember that our current circumstances are a direct result of our past thinking. In order to change our future experiences, we need to change our current thinking. You might find it helpful to first get clear about exactly what your current beliefs are. Think about the various aspects of your life, like your career, financial status, relationships, health, and so on. As you think about these situations, ask yourself what beliefs they reveal. If you have a lot of financial struggles, your existing belief might be, “I don’t have enough money,” or “I can’t stop accumulating debt.” Because you believe these things, your outer circumstances have come together in such a way that supports your beliefs.
Affirmations can help us change our beliefs, if they are worded correctly.
The first thing to understand is the importance of wording affirmations in present tense. Notice the difference in feelings you get from saying, “I will eat healthful, nutritious foods and exercise each day”, or “I enjoy eating healthful, nutritious foods and exercising each day.” The second statement makes the affirmation part of your experience NOW, while the first keeps the reality off in some uncertain future period of time.
Okay, so wording affirmations in the present tense is important, but how can we tell which words will give us the result we desire? The clues lie in our existing circumstances and beliefs.
If you are unhappy with the size or state of your body, you have been holding a belief that you are unhealthy, weak, unworthy, or lacking in beauty. In order to change your negative belief about your body, you must embrace a more positive belief. “I am healthy, strong, lean, and sexy” would be a good affirmation to begin changing this perception, but remember that it will first seem like you’re lying to yourself. Even though you are saying the words, you are not feeling the truth of such a statement.
Consistent repetition over time will begin to change that, but it’s important to keep up with the practice. There are two times when you should recite your affirmations:
1) Whenever you notice a conflicting belief. If you go shopping for clothes and you see an unpleasant image in the dressing room mirror and your mind begins its litany of negativity, “I’m so fat, oh my god, I can’t believe they let a beast like me walk around in public, I’m never going to be beautiful, I should just wear a tent for god’s sake!” — stop yourself, close your eyes and call up an image of yourself looking radiant, healthy, beautiful, and fit. Recite your affirmation (”I am healthy, strong, lean, and sexy”) with full faith that it is becoming your reality, moment by moment.
2) All the time. (Or as often as possible.) Don’t just wait for negative beliefs to pop up so you can recite your affirmations, say them as often as you can remember! Write them down and stick them on your bathroom mirror, the dashboard of your car, the headboard on your bed, in your wallet, or any place where you are likely to see them frequently. The more repetition you can engage in, the more quickly you will begin to replace your old, limiting beliefs with empowering new ones.
Finally, the MOST important part of affirmations is the intensity of belief you hold while you are reciting them. If you just say the words mechanically and dispassionately, guess what happens? You won’t be changing your existing beliefs because the whole time you’re reciting affirmations (no matter how great they are!), you will also have an inner voice saying, “Give me a break, who do you think you’re kidding?”
However, if you instead CHOOSE to believe your new affirmations with full faith and conviction, you will challenge the validity of your existing beliefs. Two opposing beliefs cannot co-exist in your mind at the same time. It HAS to be one or the other. This is a good thing because it means that the more you shift your confidence in your new beliefs, your old beliefs will fade away and eventually cease to exist. When that happens, your physical circumstances will shift and change in order to support your new beliefs.

The law of attraction is a sensible occurrence of like attracting like. The law of attraction is like an ethereal magnet, it is an energy that circulates and returns to itself repeatedly. The energy within the law of attraction vibrates to the energy that is sent forth by our thoughts and actions.
Our energy interacts with the energy of the law of attraction all of our lives. The thoughts within us, and the deeds we do determine our lot in life. We can consciously stimulate the law of attraction and begin the process of manifesting our wants and needs into reality, when we become determined to do so.
After we have taken the time to sit down and figure out what we truly want, and acknowledge the honest why behind what we want, we can then begin clearly visualizing our goal fulfilled. Visualization is created by using or seeing pictures and images in your mind and is very important and potent tool in shifting your reality to that which you intend it to be.
By using visualization, we add our emotional viewpoint into the energy mix of the law of attraction. Our feelings contain powerful energy, which can be useful in manifesting our goals, if we learn to use them properly. While visualizing our goal as it is happening right now, this very minute, adding any complimentary occurrences or correspondences to the visualization such as sounds, smell and feelings help to bring our visualized reality into being.
While you visualize your goal happening now, you must be sure to experience those feelings as if they are actually happening in your life. The energy sent forth from your emotions will vibrate to the law of attraction and it will respond in like manner.

The law of attraction is an ancient law that has recently been brought to light through Esther Hicks. Esther Hicks channels spirits that collectively use the name &ndash “Abraham.”
According to the law of attraction “that which is like unto itself is drawn.” In simpler terms this can be expressed as like attracts like. It could also be said as - as you sow, so shall you reap; what goes around comes around; what your put out you get back and what you want, wants you.
Many successful people have lived by the positive philosophy of the law of attraction including, by self admission, Oprah Winfrey. The secret that is said to have once been known by Beethoven is now common knowledge thanks to the works of Esther Hicks and her husband Jerry Hicks.
The statement “ask and you shall receive” is common knowledge. The law of attraction says “Ask, believe, receive.” Abrahams secret teachings say how all things that are wanted or unwanted are brought to you by the law of attraction. A belief is only a thought that you keep thinking. Never before has the law of attraction been explained as clearly as it is here by Abraham through Esther and Jerry Hicks.
Let us examine the basics of the law of attraction. Once a vibration is activated by you, a response is given via the law of attraction. If you ask, you receive. According to the law of attraction, everything is valid and truthful. In the germination of the seed of your desire is everything that is necessary to make your desire true. You must relax and let the law of attraction organize and manage and then happily do your work.
The secret law of attraction that has now been revealed is a universal law. Universal laws cannot be changed or broken. They have been around since the dawn of creation. They apply to everything, everywhere. They are basic principles on which life is based.
The law of attraction, revealed by Abraham-Hicks is the most powerful force in the universe. Practice is needed to “get it” but once you get it you need never look back. The secret of the law of attraction is &ndash like attracts like. This means many things. You are a living magnet. Energy attracts energy. You get what you focus on whether you want it or not.
Though some people are better at attraction than others are, this does not mean the person with average law of attraction skills cannot get better of even surpass others. In working the secret law of attraction, always take inspired action. If something feels right, go ahead and do it. Always expect your desires to come true. Expect miracles to happen.
Money, relationships and jobs happen in our life according to our expectations. The moment we focus on them, they start moving toward us. The quality of desires we focus on affects what we get from life. Our thoughts and feelings must affirm the positive to bring in happiness into our lives.
Think you have as much money you want in your life. Then feel it. Also, believe it. Believe that you already have as much money as you want in your life. Be grateful for the money you have. Accept yourself as a rich person.
Do the same with relationships and with jobs. Think, believe, feel and accept yourself in a positive position on these and the positivity will come to you. This is the secret that has been revealed by Abraham-Hicks in the law of attraction
What we focus on is brought to us. If it is on having less, we create that experience for ourselves. If it is on having more we bring richness into our lives. The man who says he hates his job is creating this reality for himself by not noticing the good parts of his job. If we obsess on not having something, then we are blocking what we deserve from coming to us. The secret is wanting, believing and accepting what you desire in your life.
Most people focus on their not having things they want rather than having them. This is a negative thought process and blocks what we want from coming into out lives. Once a secret, it is now known that the law of attraction is not mystical mumbo jumbo but a fact that has been borne out in countless lives. Expect positivity and receive positivity. So think, feel and believe positive.
That is the law of attraction in a nutshell.
