Tips On Where To Seek Stop Smoking Support And Help?
Author: admin
You have reached this stage to stop smoking and today you need the support and help from outside agencies. This shows the strength of nicotine addiction. How cruel its hold on you! But don’t be afraid to take the required support as you have finally decided to quit smoking for ever. You can defeat nicotine, and you will!
Some of the suggested methods may look simple, but you need to follow them with commitment. Make a list of your reasons to quit smoking. Keep it in your pocket and as the urge sprouts in your mind, take out the list from your pocket, instead of the cigarette. Read the list slowly and carefully. Re read it. Resist the urge with all the strength at your command.
Be in touch with some QUIT SMOKING program. The encouragement that you will get by attending such program may surprise you. Consult your doctor for latest information on the subject of quitting smoking. The doctor’s pep talk will have the desired effect on you. Take suggestions about nicotine replacement products. The care is needed to be taken in the area that these replacement products do not lead you to further addiction.
Support your will power to the hilt. Be obstinate to hate nicotine. See often, the video clippings showing the detrimental effects of cigarette smoking. I would even suggest you to visit the cancer ward in a hospital, and see for yourself the deep suffering of the patients who were addicted to tobacco in one form or the other. This will leave a profound effect on your mind.
Many have availed the support of hypnotherapy to get rid of smoking for ever. Do try it. You are through, if luck favors you. Even otherwise, don’t get disheartened. You are in the nicotine-fighting mood, and do remain in that position.
Your family members have a positive role to play, at this crucial juncture of your life. They are your immediate support and help group. Take assistance from your trusted non-smoking friends, and do not hesitate to terminate friendship, though temporarily, with your smoker friends. If you suffer from some major disease on account of smoking, they are not going to foot your hospital bill.
By now, you have enough knowledge in theory about the ill effects of passive smoking. Your smoke coils do damage the health of your family members. It is not your democratic right to cause problems to your family members.
And finally, at the end of the day how much money you have saved by not smoking? Multiply it by 365. That is the amount that you are going to save for the year, which I am sure is in thousands of dollars!
If you don’t stop smoking now, some one else will claim many more thousands of dollars, from you. You know who!

Why You Should Purchase a Singing Lesson on CD
Author: admin
All around the world there are millions of individuals who are interested in a career in singing. There are many individuals who only dream, but others actually work to make that dream come true. If you are interested in a career in singing you need to ask yourself which type of individual you are. If you are interested in working to make your dream come true then you are already a few steps ahead of most people.
Hard work may not necessarily come easy or even cheap, but there are ways to make it happen. When trying to become a singer there are many individuals who end up taking singing lessons. A singing lesson is often given by a trained professional who has experience in voice singing. The most common way to receive a singing lesson is to meet face-to-face; however, that is not the only way. It is possible to purchase a singing lesson on CD. A singing lesson on CD is a great alternative to face-to-face singing lessons.
If given the chance many aspiring singers would prefer to work one-on-one with a music teacher or a voice coach; however, that cannot always happen. Singing lessons take time and money. It is not uncommon for one singing lesson session to last an hour. Most singers cannot show improvement in just one singing lesson; therefore, they are often required to take multiple lessons over a period of time. These lessons may end up being costly and time consuming. For that reason there has been an increase in the popularity of singing lesson on CD programs.
A singing lesson on CD is similar to a face-to-face lesson; however, no teacher or voice coach will physically be present. Even though a singing lesson on CD is not as personal as most traditional singing lessons it is still very beneficial. Most singing lesson on CD programs will have the same information and tips that would be given by a professional in a traditional singing lesson session.
Another aspect to consider when purchasing a singing lesson on CD program that is these items can be used again and again. As with purchasing traditional music CDs shoppers will only have to pay for the item once, but the product can be used as many times as needed. This is similar to taking multiple singing lesson, but without the extra cost.
A singing lesson on CD can be purchased from a wide variety of locations. They can be found in a number of retail stores including music stores, media stores, and traditional department stores. It is also possible to purchase singing lesson on CD programs over the internet. When shopping for a singing lesson on CD program many aspiring singers find it more helpful to shop online because many online stores offer a wider product selection.
Since a singing lesson on CD can be purchased for a fairly decent price and it can be reused again and again it is a wise investment for many aspiring singers. It is not uncommon for a person to change their career goals over time; therefore, why spend a large amount of money on professional singing lessons when a singing lesson on CD is easy to get a hold of and use.

Sharpen Your Public Speaking Skills
Author: admin
Public speaking is increasing becoming a requirement particularly in the work setting. To be successful, you must be able to communicate effectively to a big crowd. Many individuals fail in this aspect even if they possess the right skills. The key to effective public speaking is focusing on your goals and being prepared.
Do not be surprised. Public speaking can actually be satisfying and fun if you easily overcome the initial nervousness and discomfort. If you have trouble doing this, in spite of the confidence you might be feeling, you will never effectively communicate with the crowd.
They would only see a person, standing before them, looking afraid. Your credibility might even be questioned because of this. To help you accomplish your goals, here are some hot tips in public speaking.
Eye Contact
Looking at your audience and trying to make eye contact will help you bring the situation down to a more comfortable and personal level. Instead of addressing the crowd, speak as if you are talking to a single person. This way you will be able to relax visibly and your crowd may become more receptive to your speech.
Think of Your Audience
You will be surprised to know that there are people in the audience who feel nervous and uncomfortable too. You should try to focus on this knowledge and make your audience comfortable by speaking in moderate tones and making smart quips.
Visual Aids
If you do not want the audience’s focus on you, you can try to divert their attention by providing visual aids. You should keep in mind that your visual aid should never bee too technical and complicated. Just like in public speaking, make sure that your visual aids will speak to your audience effectively as well.
Make an Outline
To ensure that you will not lose sight of your goal, you should make an outline. Better yet, write important notes in small cards and arrange them according to your outline, the smooth and continuous flow of your speech or presentation will help maintain the interest of the audience.
It is very important for a person to sharpen his public speaking skills through constant practice. It would also boost your confidence if you come prepared to a speaking engagement or presentation. Some people arrive earlier in order to familiarize themselves to the room. You should be able to determine what would make you feel at ease and comfortable and do these things before your presentation.

Saying Yes
Author: admin
“All that man achieves, and all that he fails to achieve is a direct result of his own thoughts.” -James Allen
John Lennon, at the height of his popularity, had his heart captured by one simple word: yes. He was rich, talented, desired and loved by people all over the world and had the option of nearly any woman he wanted. And ‘yes’ was what did it for him.
He attended an exhibit in England and Yoko Ono was one of the artists. The piece in question was a ladder which led to a tiny sign and a magnifying glass. In order to see what was written on this tiny sign, one had to climb the ladder and look through this magnifying glass. It said, ‘Yes’.
It started with a yes. John later said he liked the piece so much because of it’s positive message. He said if it had been something negative, he wouldn’t have found Yoko or her work interesting in the least.
We all say ‘yes’ or derivatives of it every day (yeah, uh huh, ya). A positive response to a question or situation. Yes.
When we say yes, many times we are projecting an attitude and an affirmation, more than just agreement, and we are showing an openness and welcoming.
As a persuader, I love to hear ‘yes’.
Self awareness and attitude go hand in hand with persuasion. This requires that you “check in” with yourself and pay special attention to all the signs and feelings we experience.
There’s a young women who works at the cafe where I work sometimes. She has the ultimate ‘people suck’ attitude. ‘I’ll never get what I want. Why can’t I ever find a parking spot. I’m so fat. I’m always broke. . .’ Wow. This is not a ‘can do’ attitude. She is most certainly not saying ‘yes’.
By changing our loops, our negative tapes, for positive ones, and you’ll be rewarded immeasurably. It takes a lot of conscious work and can sometimes be uncomfortable.
There have been days when I let negative moods get the better of me. Sometimes it happens without you even knowing it. I’m not normally a complainer. I take action when action is warranted, but I had a bad day not too long ago where I was irritated by absolutely everything. I noticed the ugly paint job on the house down the street, I noticed the horrible driver in traffic. And then something happened that interrupted my (temporary) pattern of negativity. Someone just said, ‘Are you okay?’ It made me realize that, yeah, I had really been complaining a lot, it had been a bad day. I took a deep cleansing breath, checked in with myself, and intentionally readjusted my attitude. Presto! That ugly paint job was inconsequential.
Life happens. Part of life includes ‘bad’ things. We have the choice to respond with either positivity or negativity. Emotions are choices.
Charles Hannel, author of ‘The Master Key System’, (an incredible study in self-improvement and higher consciousness) said of attitude, “The predominant thought or the mental attitude is the magnet, and the law is that like attracts like, consequently, the mental attitude will invariably attract such conditions as correspond to its nature.”
As you begin to reorient yourself to a ‘yes’ attitude, you will get more ‘yes’ in return.

Top 10 Prosperity Tips
Author: admin
Living a prosperous life is about much more than just having enough money. In order to be truly prosperous, you need to change your total mind-set from lack to abundance. You need to make a mental and emotional shift and start living your life on a more abundant level - in all areas!
Below are my top 10 tips for doing that:
Prosperity Tip #1 - Do What You Love
When you spend time doing things you really love, you automatically feel happier. When you feel happier, you emit more positive vibrations, and attract the things you want more quickly and easily! Start spending more time doing the things you really love. This can include hobbies as well as transitioning to a more fulfilling career.
Prosperity Tip #2 - Affirm You Always Have More Than Enough
The more you focus on lack, the more lack you will experience in your life. Turn this around by constantly affirming, “I always have more than enough money for everything I need.” The more strongly you can come to believe this, the more your physical surroundings will shift to match your expectations.
Prosperity Tip #3 - Take Action
Action isn’t always necessary in order to attract abundance into your life, but it sure doesn’t hurt. Don’t sit around waiting for your circumstances to change - get out there and change them! Taking even one small step toward what you want can often trigger a flood of opportunities and synchronicities that get everything moving in a more positive direction. At the very least, taking action can boost your confidence and make you feel more in control of your circumstances.
Prosperity Tip #4 &ndash Gratitude and Appreciation
An appreciative mind-set makes everything seem better. Not only do you feel more abundant, your very focus on the positive aspects of your life will naturally attract more things to be grateful for. Make it a daily habit to appreciate the wonderful things that happen to you - even the small things. The more you do, the more you’ll find good stuff flowing into your life as if by magic.
Prosperity Tip #5 - Love, Love, Love
Love is one of the most powerful, transformational forces. It can heal the most painful situations, transform lack into abundance, and inspire positive change in both the giver and receiver. Practice flowing feelings of deep love for everyone and everything in your life. Love your blessings, your friends and family, the difficult people you encounter each day, and even your illnesses and obstacles. When you love them, you heal and transform them into genuine blessings.
Prosperity Tip #6 - Boost Your Self-Worth
Your beliefs have everything to do with the things you experience on a daily basis. If you don’t believe you deserve abundance, you will continually push it away! Start improving your self-worth and affirm constantly that you deserve to be happy, healthy and wealthy. When someone tries to give you a gift or compliment, accept it with gratitude! The more you do this, the more you will open yourself to the blessings the universe wants to send your way too.
Prosperity Tip #7 - Make Room for More
If every nook and cranny of your life is crammed with clutter and disharmony, you’ve got no ROOM for prosperity to come in! One of the quickest ways to get abundance flowing more smoothly through your life is to clear a space for it. Get rid of physical clutter and release painful emotional burdens and unresolved issues. Clean up your physical, spiritual, emotional and financial affairs, and watch how easily they are transformed from stagnant to vibrant.
Prosperity Tip #8 - Change Your Beliefs, Change Your Life
Besides poor self-worth, you may have other limiting beliefs that keep you from experiencing the prosperity you deserve. For example, do you believe you must work hard to receive a lot of money? Do you believe that rich people are rude and insensitive? Do you believe that having a lot of money would be a burden? Learn to examine and question your beliefs about prosperity - and change the ones that limit you. This is an ongoing process that can change your life in powerful ways.
Prosperity Tip #9 - Fire Up Your Abundance Radar
You’ve probably heard it said that whatever you focus on expands. Prosperity is no different! Get into the habit of seeking examples of abundance wherever you go. When you’re shopping, pause to notice the abundance overflowing from store shelves. Each one of those products began with a simple idea in someone’s mind and was created in physical form! Take a trip to your local farmer’s market and marvel at the abundance of produce available. Each one of them was started with a tiny seed planted in the ground and nurtured until it grew into a luscious fruit or vegetable. Take time each day to reflect on the abundance you see all around you, and you will attract more of it (in all forms) into your life.
Prosperity Tip #10 - Positively Abundant
Positive thoughts and emotions will automatically attract more positive circumstances into your life, including prosperity! Negative thinking is nothing more than a habit of looking at the less favorable aspects of every situation. But every negative situation has at least ONE positive benefit. The more you can train your mind to look for the blessings and remain open to possibility, the more blessings and possibilities you will see! Start a new positive thinking habit today and watch how it transforms you into a magnet for everything good.
There are many more ways to attract greater prosperity into your life, but these tips offer a simple way to get started.
Abraham Lincoln once said, “Most folks are as happy as they make up their minds to be.” The very same thing could be said about prosperity.
Make up your mind to be as prosperous as you want to be . . . and your perception of reality will have no choice but to comply with your wishes.

Time Management Skills
Author: admin
As a Life Coach, and after coaching many different clients, I have come to realize that to effectively manage time, we need to first realize that time itself cannot be managed! We all get seven days a week and 168 hours within those seven days. This cannot be increased or changed in any way. However, what we can change, improve and manage is ourselves. In essence then, true time management now becomes management of ourselves &ndash “self management!”
So being aware of this, we now know that it’s not the amount of time we have that’s important; it’s how effectively we use that time that makes the difference. Successful people have exactly the same amount of time in the day as each of us. The only difference is they use their time differently &ndash more effectively.
You might say “I don’t have the time to commit to learning some time management skills”. I hear this a lot during life coaching sessions, but the fact is if this were true, do you really think you have the time not to?
Time management principles and techniques are usually quite simple to learn. They do not require deep thinking, a high I.Q or lots of preparation. In fact if you were to put the search term “Time Management Resources” into a search engine you will get dozens of websites offering help, advice, tips and suggestions on how to manage and prioritize your time.
To sum time management up I would say you need to ask yourself two questions:
1. Do I physically have enough time to do the tasks that are required of me? We only have so much time. Sometimes it’s not always physically possible to fit everything in. If this is the case then you need to prioritize and drop some of the low priority task/activities to claim some time back.
2. Do I fully optimize and use my time effectively? If the answer is NO then you might want to learn and implement some time management principles and techniques.
Below is a list of some time management (self management) techniques and tips that I use during life coaching. You may find a couple of them helpful yourself. They are in no particular order.
• Figure out when (what time of the day?) you work most efficiently.
• Establish your priorities for what you want to get done. Identify the tasks and activities that are the highest priority and eliminate those of low priority.
• Allow more time than you think you will need. This makes your schedule flexible and allows for the unexpected.
• Get into the habit of using your odd five minutes here and there more productively. Don’t just dismiss it as only five minutes &ndash they add up throughout the week!
• Accomplish one or two important tasks rather than lots unimportant ones.
• Keep a calendar/diary. Mark all your important dates/tasks.
• Keep a list of “Things to Do” and mark them off as completed.
• Every day make a list of what you have to do tomorrow.
• When possible do the unpleasant tasks first.
• Tidiness makes your life easier and reduces stress.
• Allow time to relax, recharge and do nothing.
• Leave time in your schedule for un-planned activities.
• Know your strengths, skills and weakness.
• Ask yourself, “What am I doing that someone else could do for me?” Delegate!
• Don’t be scared to ask for help
• Bin things straight away to reduce the clutter (junk mail, newspapers and spam email etc).
• Divide large overwhelming tasks into smaller chunks, and attack them one at a time.
• Complete at least one task each day that you don’t like to do, but know you should.
• Realize that all your email checking, surfing the internet and other procrastinations add up to hours of lost time each week (sometime even each day!)
• Watch less T.V. If you watch T.V for three hours a day from the age of five years old, by the time you are fifty five the amount of T.V you will have watched will be the equivalent to watching non-stop 24 hours a day for six years and three months. If you cut this down by just one hour a day, so then only watch two hours of T.V, you will have gained back over two years worth of time.

Spanish Memorization Using Link-word Technique
Author: admin
There are many learning language software available online today. But what you should consider before jumping on what you think is the best learning software program is the way or method you can use and whether you’ll be able to deal with it as you progress in learning the language.
In learning new languages, memorization always is the main ingredient in mastering words and constructing an entire sentence. There may be a lot of drawbacks how to flawlessly do this especially if you’re new to learning foreign languages. Fortunately, for eager beavers, there are techniques that you can use which can benefit you and your time while you learn the language.
A popular learning language technique which also complements your memorization skills is called the Linkword technique. In enhancing your memory, creativity and imagination are two big factors that lead to successful memorization. This is also true and helpful in learning Spanish language and other foreign languages as well. The rule is not to limit your imagination to anything too reserve, normal and formal. It has been proven that the human brain works like a fire truck. Whenever there is a fire, it responds quickly by alerting its entire system (and the neighborhood) using the siren.
The same thing works with Linkword method. Our brain responds to something more than the ordinary. So, the funnier and weirder a situation is, the quicker our brain responds to absorbing it. An example would be the word prize in English and premio in Spanish.
Let’s take a look at the next sentence as an example. Try to imagine a car winning a sack race. The car receives a premium sack trophy as its prize. It can never get anymore easier than that. When you learn to accustom yourself with Linkword system, learning Spanish and other languages would become a treat instead of a chore.
To master more Spanish words, check on this link learn-spanish-program.com and learn how easy it is to use.

Tips On Creating Change In Your Life
Author: admin
What kinds of things help support us in changing or creating a new habit?
Visualizing can be very compelling for some people. The clearer you picture your goal and how good you will feel when you reach it, the easier it becomes to make the necessary changes to get there.
Affirmations can also help you reach a goal. Come up with a statement as if you’ve already achieved what you wish. “I AM happy,” rather than, “I want to be happy,” and then repeat it throughout the day, every day until you are on your way.
Having structure with others can also help you to change. If, for example, you want to get in shape, you can join a class at a community college for weight training, aerobic work outs, or sport. In a class you are given an outline of expectation, a schedule for working out, a finite course over a number of weeks and most likely you will have to keep a record of your workouts and your performance will be reviewed, which means you must be accountable to someone. It will be easier to stick with because you won’t be doing it alone. Working out in your own home has the convenience of location and time, but there is no accountability except to yourself and you have no company while doing it. If you’ve been having difficulty establishing a new habit, find a group or a class where you can join others who are trying to achieve similar goals.
There are other things too, that can make it easier or harder to change. One is our image of our self and our abilities. Do we believe we will succeed, or do we expect we will quit? Can we picture ourselves (again the visualization) where we want to be, or are we uncomfortable with the idea of being there? For instance, would you be comfortable being wealthy, or would you feel guilty for having wealth when so many are poor? You will have to work out any issues you have before you will be able to comfortably keep a new habit or lifestyle.
Sometimes a little change goes far to support making a big change. For instance, some men will grow a beard or shave one off and some women will change their hairstyle or hair color when they are mentally trying to create a larger change in their lives. They might shave a beard when they begin dating, or color their hair when they are trying to lose weight. A little visible change acts as a reminder that you are indeed changing and not quite the same person you used to be. Redecorating a room in your house or your office is another small change that can serve as a reminder for other changes in habit or new attitudes.

Trusting Abundance
Author: admin
How do we trust enough to trust abundance? It’s a koan or at least a dilemma. A few nights ago, a friend shared how he recently worked with his fears and limiting beliefs around money, trust, and abundance.
For six years he had been “at a loss”&ndashliterally, unable to figure out why he was living in poverty while everyone around him seemed to manifest abundance so easily. A few weeks ago, he decided to stop asking why and started to simply “walk the walk” of abundance. It started with his awareness that he was out of integrity with himself and his church. His church asks its members to agree to tithe 10% of their earnings to charity. Although he had made the agreement, he had been skimping, telling himself that he didn’t have enough money for food or rent so how could he possibly give 10%?
When he confronted this, he made a decision to tithe 10% anyway, even if it meant going hungry. He made one other behavioral change to stop reinforcing his fear of lack. He stopped letting his gas tank get dangerously close to empty or even running out of gas. From the moment he stopped letting the fear of lack control him, his business began to boom. Within two weeks, he was booked with work for the next three months and has since given the overflow to other contractors.
So how do we trust enough to trust God/the Universe? This is where faith and “working in concert” come in. Faith means allowing God/the Universe to provide even though we can’t know ahead of time how things will work out. Faith is trusting, even with our fears and limiting beliefs. Working in concert means not sabotaging God/the Universe through behaviors that reinforce our fears and limiting beliefs. It means acting as if&ndashas if we have perfect faith, as if it will all work out, as if we can help ourselves and others even when we don’t see how.
This is what my friend did by tithing and by filling up his gas tank. He behaved as if his fears and limiting beliefs didn’t have to be true or run the show anymore. I acknowledge him for his hard-won mastery of trust. He is an inspiration.
