What is the law of attraction? You may have seen “The Secret” or “What The Bleep Do We Know?” and have gotten an idea of what the law of attraction is all about. You may have even created a vision board, done affirmations, and focused on the things that you want.
If you’re like most people, you may have wanted to harness the law of attraction to boost your financial level, increase health and energy, or experience better personal relationships in your life. When “The Secret” first came out, a lot of people follow the guidelines it spoke of. For a while, they were real champions at it, but then they just quit. They got discouraged.
Why? Because the law of attraction is more than just focusing on what it is you want and then expecting results in a few weeks or a few months. The law of attraction works with all of your levels, past your conscious thoughts and feelings. In fact, the law of attraction goes more by your inner feelings than what you consciously are thinking.
In the rush to use the law of attraction for their own purposes, many people have missed the overall picture of harnessing the law of attraction. It’s about becoming whole within yourself.
Let me explain more about this. You see, most people are thinking they want this or that on a conscious level, while deep down inside, on the unconscious level, they may want something totally different. So they are focusing on what they consciously want, and never letting themselves know what’s deep down inside. In order for you to get to the deep inside, you’ve got to become still and clear your head. This requires practice, as you may not be used to becoming completely still in mind and body. But regular practice will make things easier for you.
When you’ve working with all of your inner and outer levels of yourself, then you’re able to harness the law of attraction to bring you all of the good things you know you deserve. It goes beyond just mere thoughts, but feelings. How does it feel to have perfect health? How does it feel to have more than enough material abundance? Are you able to feel this right now? It may be hard for you, because your logical mind is telling you that your current situation does not reflect this idea. Remember, life is full of changes, so you cannot base yourself on the externals.
As you begin to play with the feeling of already having whatever it is that you want, you will find that it gets easier and easier to already feel abundance, health and love. And as that increases within you, so your outer world will start to reflect that as well. This is the essence of the law of attraction. Some things may come easier to you than others. Enjoy the process, and enjoy the feeling. How you feel is everything when it comes to the law of attraction.

How to Perfect a Practice to make Practice Perfect

A few practical tips worth revisiting are:
** Be prepared and know exactly what it is you want from this meeting;
** Thoroughly research the company you’re going to be dealing with;
** Choose an outfit appropriate for the meeting &ndash if unsure ask your friends (asking your mother may cause greater anxiety than you first started with);
** Know exactly where and when the meeting will be and who will be there;
** Meditate before you leave for your meeting &ndash it’s important to be in a centred and calm frame of mind; and
** Arrive with plenty of time to spare.
Something which has helped me be prepared for just about anything is practising an imaginery meeting and watching myself interacting with others starting from the moment when I arrive at the Reception counter. I run through this imaginery meeting until the end when I say my farewell. By doing this, not only do I become familiar with the meeting, it also gives me greater confidence and self awareness as well as produce a successful result.
If you’ve never considered rehearsing before the following exercise may be worthy of consideration.
You can start this step by step process by first:
** Writing down at least 10 possible questions that may be asked of you. Answer each question in detail, adding any variations that come to mind.
Putting aside for now the end result , practice using your five senses (hear, taste, see, smell, feel) and your mind’s eye to imagine in full detail how this meeting will unfold, starting from the very beginning to the end. Imagine and experience this meeting fully in the present tense, in other words, be there now.
Experience and imagine:
** How relaxed and confident you are;
** What you’re wearing;
** Your arrival at the nominated venue, and how you are greeted at the Reception counter;
** What you will be taking with you into the meeting (clipboard, briefcase etc);
** The venue setting;
** Greeting the other person, the tone of your voice and theirs (imagine how strong and confident it is);
** Sitting in your seat;
** Where the other person is sitting, their posture and facial expression;
** How you sit and they sit; how you hold your body, where you place your bag, briefcase or other item;
** Notice your facial features and theirs;
** Notice also the rapport between you, notice any smiling and hear the sound of laughter;
** See and hear yourself responding to their questions in full detail;
** The smell of the room, perfume, street smells, and the taste in your mouth; and
** Anything else you notice or would like to add.
** At the close of the meeting observe your farewell, what you say, how you say it, your facial features and body movements.
Rerun the meeting differently several times and include different verbal exchanges, further tweak what needs tweaking. It’s not about perfecting one scene over and over, it’s about providing a combination of possibilities that will help you be even more prepared.
For example, visualise the other person looking perplexed by what you’re saying, communicate differently and notice what happens. See and hear this exchange in full detail. Rerun as often as you need to until you get the result you want.
For added measure, you could also rehearse your meeting by placing two chairs at a table for yourself and the other person. Sit down in one of the chairs and imagine you’re speaking to the person sitting opposite. Become aware of how you sit, your breathing rate, clarity of voice and rapport.
When you’ve finished speaking, move into second position (the other seat) and communicate what you believe that person will say, how they’ll respond, what you anticipate their body movements to be and volume, speed and tone of voice.
As a final practice technique dress for success and speak to your reflection in a mirror. Practice various verbal exchanges with the other person. Watch and notice your facial expressions, body movements including breathing rate as well as using different postures, expressions and questions and answers. Have fun and tweak what needs tweaking…
With some practical self coaching and mental rehearsal life can become that much more easier, comfortable and provide greater confidence, awareness and more successful results.

1. Embarrassment
It’s almost impossible to avoid flushing or blushing when we feel embarrassed. Either when we least expect it or even worse when we do expect it. When you next feel embarrassment try to remember that your face turning red is 99.9% common and the only discomfort you will feel is the embarrassment itself and not the so called shame of a red face.
2. Exercise
How many people do you know who don’t turn a different shade of pink from a vigorous work out? Whether it’s running for 20 mins on a piece of gym equipment or making love - we all go red and suffer a flushing face during exertion.
3. Anxiety and Phobias
The triggers that cause anxiety or phobic reactions make us feel uncomfortable and stressed out. These feelings can cause an increase in blood flow and pressure which ultimately results in the reddening of the face. If you can relate to this then the only plausible solution is to tackle the underling psychological issues that cause such physical reactions.
4. The fear of blushing
Following on from point 3, the physical reactions from psychological triggers such as anxiety, phobias or stress can often self manifest. If your child is exhibiting AD/HD (attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder) symptoms, should you rush to the doctor for a final diagnosis? Well, it’s hard to say. It really depends on the severity of the symptoms and their duration. If something happened yesterday that never happened before, you’re worrying for nothing. If it’s something that you’ve seen in your child’s behavior over a period of six months or more, then put your fears to rest. Find out if your child has AD/HD and learn to deal with it.
But who can give you that diagnosis? If you have never dealt with ADD or ADHD before, you probably don’t know that you can count on a variety of sources. Online resources may be helpful, as will pediatricians, family doctors, teachers and school officials, but the most helpful references you may receive will come from parents of children who have already been diagnosed. Recommendations may be for pediatricians, psychologists, neurologists or psychiatrists, too.
So, what makes one resource better than another? To help you determine, here are the differences among the available resources:
Pediatricians complete four years of medical school, an internship, and a residency in their specialty. They can diagnose illnesses and they watch how your child grows. They can diagnose AD/HD, but their practices are mainly quick visits, not long evaluations. If they suspect AD/HD, they will probably send you on for further evaluation.
Developmental pediatricians specialize in watching a child’s growth in many areas–physical, social, and mental, and they will make a full analysis of your child for AD/HD. When they discover that this is the cause of a developmental issue, they will treat the development issue. When they find other problems associated with juvenile AD/HD, they will probably form a team of specialists to address everything else.
Child psychiatrists have medical degrees and specialize in childhood mental abnormalities. Though they diagnose AD/HD, they rarely provide counseling. Think of them like the pediatrician of the mind. They will diagnose and prescribe, and they will monitor the prescription’s affect on your child’s particular brand of AD/HD, but they will offer little help with behavioral issues in the classroom, for instance.
Pediatric neurologists diagnose and treat central nervous system disorders in children. They usually don’t treat kids with AD/HD, unless they exhibit a tic or a syndrome, like Tourette’s, if it’s associated with the child’s AD/HD.
Clinical psychologists aren’t medical doctors. They’re PhDs and they will provide diagnosis and treatment of AD/HD. Though any of these professionals can diagnose your child, not all of them will be right for him or her with regard to ADD or ADHD. Choose the right person for you, and if you’re comfortable and your child is comfortable with their help and advice, then you’re on the right track. But don’t hesitate. Don’t let your child go through 2 or 3 grades before coming to a diagnosis. That only leads to more stress for everyone. Allow a professional to tell you whether or not your child has ADD or ADHD when you or a teacher suspects it. When the diagnosis comes, explain to them that they are special, and work on finding areas where their quick, intelligent, and creative brains can flourish. If you do this early, your child will have greater self-esteem, and lead a happier, more productive life.

You might say that you’re so busy you don’t even have time to plan. Maybe you can insert some time planning while doing your other activities. The planning phase is very important in organizing your thoughts to carry out the desired effects.
You might say that this is boring stuff, but you should never underestimate this process. This is like a guideline to steer you into the right direction.
Your plan will be your road map. Spend enough time to ponder through the different approaches and activities, and you will soon realize that you can save a lot more time by doing this.
It will be best if you can choose a quiet place to make your plan.
Your mind can focus and think more clearly this way.
Every individual has his unique perception of a well-made plan. There are no specific rules in making it. But in case you’re in a tight situation, let me give you some tips.
1. Write down your objective. This is a precise definition of your target.
2. Brainstorm the strategies & tactics you will employ to accomplish your objective.
3. Assess the advantages & disadvantages of carrying out those strategies & choose those tactics where the pros outweigh the cons.
4. Set a timeline or deadline in completing your mission.
5. Make modifications & back-up plans in case Plan A doesn’t work.
6. As your plan evolves, you will gain experience. Learn from your mistakes.
Most important of all, don’t delay. Start applying what you have learned today, and have lots of great time!

Your restaurant seats are highly important in dealing with accommodations for your restaurant. There could be a lot of people who would want to make reservations especially during Friday or Saturday nights but you have to make sure that you decide wisely on this.
Before deciding if you’re going to accept reservations of a big group for a Friday or Saturday night business, try to check your records first of the history of reservations you usually receive. If you don’t keep a record of this, make sure you do starting now.
The point here is that, you need to find out how much percentage each person from a large group can contribute to your bottom line during these times (especially that your restaurant can get full-packed) then, compare them to the smaller groups of reservation you receive during the same time. By doing this, you’d get a concrete estimation of how big your chances are going to be in earning more if you accept groups of 2 or 4 persons through walk-ins or reservations. If this is the case, you can now turn down the reservation for the larger group.
Don’t think just because a large group of diners who want to have reservation for your restaurant could already mean good profit. Make sure that you conduct a study of these matters before you make your final verdict. After all, what you’re trying to do is for the overall benefit for your income.
The opposite thing may happen as well. You could be expecting that a large group makes a reservation on a Friday or Saturday night and yet you get reservations for 2 or 4 persons. All you have to do is to take chances. You can never be too sure of what could happen on a night like this but if you continue to keep your restaurant records, you’ll realize that it would be okay not to rearrange your seating arrangement and yet, earn extra by utilizing what you already have in your restaurant.
